For a second consecutive year TimelyCare, higher education’s most trusted virtual health and well-being provider, stands among America’s fastest-growing private companies — and first in Fort Worth.

The annual Inc. 5000 list is a prestigious ranking of the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Founded in 2017, TimelyCare demonstrated significant three-year revenue growth from 2019 to 2022, finding itself as the No. 10 fastest-growing private company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, No. 19 in Texas and No. 21 in the health services sector.

“It is incredibly humbling to see TimelyCare named among so many other distinguished companies on the Inc. 5000 list,” said Luke Hejl, CEO and co-founder of TimelyCare, in a statement. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the trust and support of our valued clients and partners. While TimelyCare has evolved and scaled, the founding vision to help students be well and thrive has not changed.”

The list offers a data-driven snapshot of the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment – independent, entrepreneurial businesses.

Companies on the 2023 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2022.

The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2022 is $2 million. Growth rates used to determine rankings were calculated to four decimal places.

Valor was the next highest-ranked company from Fort Worth at No. 572.

Valor is a specialty asset management company with expertise in providing mineral management and oil and gas outsourcing.

“Being recognized on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list underscores Valor’s commitment to delivering on services that provide innovative solutions for the people and clients we serve,” said Joseph DeWoody, CEO of Valor. “I’m grateful to the entire team, whose dedication and exceptional efforts earned us a spot on this prestigious list. We’re proud to stand among the most successful companies in America and look forward to many years of continued growth.”

The Inc. 5000 class of 2023 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges.

Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate ticked up to an astonishing 2,238%. Some of the best-known brands, including Facebook, Patagonia, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, and dozens of other household names, all received their first significant national recognition as honorees on the Inc. 5000 list.

This year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added a combined 1,187,266 jobs to the economy over the past three years.

“Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic,” said Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “To make the Inc. 5000 — with the fast growth that requires — is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that are building our future.”
